It's always been about how families are hard to navigate, because we're all very different. It's a strange, mismatched family - even back in the day when it was just Sid, Manny and Diego. I think every Ice Age film is kind of about the family in some respect. And she has grown up with those movies, so it's kind of wonderful that they're continuing. Simon Pegg: Yeah, I took my first job in Ice Age in 2009, because my wife was pregnant and I wanted to film that I could watch with my new child. How would you say that this movie compares to Ice Age movies of the past? Because I think what's interesting is that people have been around Ice Age since 2002, so people of all ages love it. I feel very lucky that little dream came true for me. I always say, "Please, can we do more with Buck? Can we have a Buck movie or whatever?" Because I always have such fun, and I get to the end of the session, and I'm super caffeinated with him. Simon Pegg: Well, it's a bad time, isn't it? No, I've jokingly said this to Lori Forte, the producer, over the years of having played Buck. But let's talk about the cool part: you get the title treatment. It's been a six-year hiatus, and you are back as Buck Wild.
